Nature Hates What We Create

This Zine showcases and illustrates the issue of fast design, shedding light onto the fact though we can create is it worth creating. for centuries nature has lived among us and seen what we've created as a society, But does that mean its good for nature and our society. The deterioration of objects shows the way nature breaks down our creations, left to element all traces of humanity will eventually deteriorate.

This zine incorporates the knowledge of InDesign (Layout), Photoshop (matching paper borders), Illustrator (Drawing on Train Tracks) and using a Phone to take high quality photos.
Draft Mistakes and Edits Draft 2
In image 1, due to the layout of the zine the images and orientated the wrong way (upside down). In order to fix this I had to flip the images upside down so that once the zine was folded the orientation and desired affect was achievable.

The same issue happened with Image 2, and for the desired outcome the same solution was used.

In Image 3, Though the zine is simplistic there was too much blank space when pared with the following page. In order to change this I had added some all capital words to emphases the zines message while also tying into the contents of the photo displayed.

In Image 4, There were many grammatical errors that had to be fixed and rearranged in oder for the paragraph to flow nicely.
Some examples include:
- Question marks (make readers think)
- Apostrophe to break up long sentences
- Capital letters

In Image 5, there were a few grammar mistakes.
Some of these include:
- Capital W in 'We'
- No capital H in 'However'
- An orphan word at the end of the paragraph

An overall edit that was done was to change the background of the zine to match the burning paper look, without the background (though using grids) there were white gaps between the pages. This would lead to a less cohesive look and make the brunt pager look more like a photo than realistic.
Mistakes and Edits Draft 1
With in my first draft I came up with many issues
- Lack of content
- Pixelated image (zooming in to much)
- Child like drawings for a mostly photo zine (out of place)

with all of these considered I rearranged, and repurposed some photos by editing flowers instead of drawing them.

I also though of a background that out cohesively bring the zine pages together to match the theme, burnt and dirty paper. by also incorporating flower image layouts I was able to combine the original train track images into the zine while being cohesive.

The task also required text so that was something I had to improve on.
